Generic Field Apps Don’t Think Like a Painter

Most field apps give a job an address and a notes box. A painting job is rooms, coats, sheen, colors and a prep plan, and the painter needs all of it with paint on their hands.

Color codes in a text thread

Codes on the job card cannot scroll away.

Prep gets skipped

The checklist shows the prep steps that were sold.

"Did they do two coats?"

One box per coat, recorded on the job.

Photos on personal phones

Before and after photos saved to the job, visible to the office and customer.

Crew App Features for Painting Companies

Every tool exists to get a crew through the day with fewer calls to the office.

Crew Estimates

Trusted painters can write estimates, even offline.

The Office Books It. The Crew Paints It and Checks It Off.

The office sees the finished checklist, the photos and the condition on the job. Problems the crew found, like wood rot or a water stain, come back as notes the office can quote.

Painting Crew App — Common Questions

What does the painter see?

Their jobs in order. Each card has the address with navigation, the areas being painted, square feet, interior or exterior, coats, sheen, surface, color codes, the prep list, access notes and past notes. They tap Start, Skip or Complete, run the checklist and take photos.

Do painters need to download anything?

No app store download. It runs in the browser on iPhone and Android and can be added to the home screen. Painters log in with the company login and their own PIN.

What is on the painting checklist?

Walk-through and colors confirmed, floors and furniture covered and masked, furniture moved, the prep the job calls for (patch, sand, caulk, prime), cut-in, one box per coat, trim and doors, cleanup, touch-ups and the final walk-through. The painter records coats applied, gallons used and the colors, a condition and a note for the customer.

What happens at Complete?

The office sees the finished checklist and photos, the invoice is built, and a card on file can be charged. Property managers can get one monthly statement.
